In this guide, I will cover everything you need to know about Eve Galaxy Conquest seasons: how the seasonal system works, the phases involved, the rewards you can earn, critical considerations for the final phases of the season, and most importantly—what gets reset and what you keep to carry over to the next season.
Introduction
As I mentioned in my Eve Galaxy Conquest review, the game employs a seasonal system. Each season lasts approximately two months, with the game’s pace controlled through event missions. These missions provide clear goals and several days to complete them. This global progression system ensures smooth overall development and balances power between newcomers and veteran players, preventing seasoned players from dominating the server by monopolising key resources early on.
Table of Contents

The current seasonal missions consist of several stages. Some stages are shorter, while others are longer, depending on the type of content they unlock. This design ensures everyone has a fair chance to participate. Once all seasonal missions are complete, rewards are distributed (some earlier than others), and the season concludes to make way for the next.
Season Missions Explained
As noted, there are 13 seasonal missions, all time-based. They serve as general guidelines for progression, with each step lasting between 6 hours and 10 days. The rewards listed for each mission unlock as the timer (visible in the upper left corner of the mission card) counts down.
Some Notable Missions
- Mission #7 – This mission unlocks the ability to use a Homebase Gantry to relocate your base. It also permits attacking level 7 gates, opening access to low-security systems.
- Mission #9 – This includes a seasonal chest reward. However, any chests, marked with a ‘seasonal’ tag, are only distributed at the end of the season, even if you qualify earlier. Update: With Season 2, chest reward removed from missions UI to stop confusing people.

Nova rewards for all missions are unlocked immediately once the timer ends, provided you, your corporation, or your server meet the qualifications. Additionally, some unlock limited-time themed shops with specialized ships and commander recruitment pools, this reward is available for everyone on a server.
When Does an Eve Galaxy Conquest Season End?
This is one of the most frequently asked questions in global chat. As of now, there’s no fixed end date announced for seasons. The official GM response is that the exact date will be communicated via:
- The official Discord channel (#server-update)
- The in-game login screen
- The Season Missions explanation page
Your server’s end date should be listed clearly alongside these announcements. Any other information is purely speculative.

Key Dates
There are two important dates to note:
- Settlement Date – The day then rewards are locked and the server wraps up. This period lasts for about 2 weeks, players can continue to finish personal missions, achievements or farming pirates.
- New Season Start Date – When the next season officially begins.
Typically, there is a 8-12 days window between the official announcement and the actual reset. You can estimate the end date based on the timers for the 12th and 13th missions. It’s likely that the developers determine the exact date manually, taking into account server dynamics and player activity.
What Resets and What Carries Over?
Another common question in general chat and Discord is about what gets reset and what is retained during a season reset. In short, you keep everything in your inventory, including commanders and ships. Here’s a detailed breakdown:

Things That Reset During Season Change
- Node Resources – Ice, Ore, Alloy, Gas, ISK—all are reset to zero.
- Homebase Upgrades and Tree – Your base returns to level 1, and you must unlock and reconstruct everything from scratch.
- Commander Levels – Reset to level 1, though unlocked skill slots are retained.
- Ship Module Levels – Reset to level 1, but unlocked modules remain.
- Captured Grids – All grids are lost, and the limit reverts to the starting value (0/30).
- Influence – Reset to zero.
- Faction Choice – You’ll need to re-select your faction.
- Corporation Progress – All corporation progress is reset.
- Fleet Setups – All fleet-related structures wiped so do the setups.
- Cooldowns – Commander and ship 72-hour reset cooldowns are also cleared, allowing you to dismantle ships for ISK right before the season ends.
- Fleet Agent – levels you raise with ISK will be lost.
Things That Carry Over (Inherit)
- Rigs and Implants – Both fitted and those in inventory.
- Buffs – Construction speed-ups, universal, and home speed-ups.
- Data Chips, Blueprints, and Commander Files – Used for unlocking skills, modules, and promotions.
- Crafting Materials – For implants and rigs.
- Currencies – Ever Credits, Nova Credits, Quantum Credits, and Concord Honor.
- Misc – Recruitment Tickets (both types), Action Point Boosters, Homebase Anchoring Devices, Renaming module.
- Conquer Kredits – if any left from previous season.
- Character Name and Portrait – These remain unchanged.
- Secure Containers – Explained below.
- Fleet Agent – max level upgrades (from installation packs).
What Are Secure Containers?
Secure containers often cause confusion. Essentially, they allow you to conserve and stash ISK to sell in the next season. The MSRP is 1 million ISK, but the sale value is 100k ISK, converting at a 1:10 ratio. You can purchase up to 10 of these containers at a discount in the Season Market, which unlocks after Mission #11 (“The Trigger”) ends and level 10 stations like Jita become attackable.

Secure containers are also found in Hypernet loot boxes sold in the Season Market. From my experience, the drop rate is approximately 4% (9 containers from 220 boxes). During next season for 14 days opens a seasonal Market, where you can trade these Containers for ISK and Conquest Kredits for goods.
Final Words
You can always check detailed season information by clicking the Season Missions button and navigating to the “Announcement” tab in the lower-left corner. This page displays major dates and rules about inheritance.
