What Are Military Exploits in Eve Galaxy Conquest?

Military Exploits, commonly referred to as ME by players, are a special currency awarded exclusively for PvP activities against other players. Their icon resembles two military dog tags—if you’ve played Eve Online, you’ll recognize it as the same icon used for faction NPC tags.

Military Exploits are not displayed in the main interface; you can only see them in the market or in menus where they can be spent. If you want to track your earnings, the easiest way is to open the corporation members menu and find yourself in the list. You can also toggle the display in the upper part of the screen to “weekly” to see how many you’ve earned since the last reset.

Where to Spend Military Exploits?

The primary way to spend Military Exploits (ME) is through the market. There are three main options:

InterBus Market – This market features 2-3 daily offers where you can trade raw materials for ME. A typical trade involves exchanging 150,000 units of materials for 5,000 ME. Occasionally, a 40% discount is available. The offers refresh daily at 00:00 UTC.

Military Exploits Market – This specialized market refreshes every seven days, with a visible timer showing the time until the next reset. You can also manually refresh all available offers once per week for 50 Nova by using the button at the top of the shop. With the latest update, developers have added the Stellar Construction Terminal and Guristas loot boxes to the list of available purchases. Additionally, this market includes Legendary Decryption Keys, Ever Kredits, Reset Certificates (occasionally), various implants, rig crafting parts, and raw materials.

Commander Recruitment Event – Developers have also introduced a time-limited special event where Military Exploits can be used as an optional way to obtain recruitment tickets. The current Caldari Archaeology event is set to end in a few days, but it’s likely that similar events will return in the future. This system appears to be a great way to introduce new ships or commanders mid-season and boost player engagement.

Priority for Spending Military Exploits

With so many ways to spend your limited Military Exploits (ME), it’s crucial to do so efficiently and in the right order. Based on my experience, here’s the best weekly spending priority:

  1. Military Exploits Market – Stellar Construction Terminal ×3
  2. Military Exploits Market – Guristas Loot ×3
  3. Ever Kredits ×3
  4. Legendary Decryption Keys (only if you still need them)
  5. Commander Recruitment Shop (if an event is active)

Rigs and implant materials don’t seem worth the investment right now, given how much ME is required for higher-priority items. Previously, the ME weekly reset cap was 50,000, meaning any excess ME was wiped every Monday. However, I can no longer find this information in the interface, suggesting an undocumented change.

How Much ME Do You Need?

Based on this priority list, here’s how much ME you’ll need each week:

  • 190,000 ME for the minimal must-have purchases (excluding the daily resource shop)
  • 232,000 ME if you want to grab everything on the list
  • 450,000 ME if you decide to use the refresh option =)

For the Commander Recruitment Event, you’ll need an additional 500,000 ME over a two-week period—more than most players earn in an entire season!

If you’re a whale with a 5-star Hyperion or Thunderchild equipped with legendary rigs, your strategy is simple—just park your ship in an active zone, and other players will handle the rest.

However, if you’re a F2P player, you’ll need to play smart. Efficient farming strategies will be key to maximizing your ME gains without relying on expensive ships.

How to Gain Military Exploits?

There is only one way to earn Military Exploits (ME) – by inflicting damage on an opponent’s fleets. No other methods exist for obtaining them.

I haven’t fully decoded the exact formula yet, but after hundreds of iterations and experiments (with the help of some of my readers—kudos to them!), I’ve managed to synthesize an efficient strategy for gaining ME with minimal effort and losses.

Cracking the ME – A Systematic Approach

Winning a PvP battle yields anywhere between 1,800 and 3,500 Military Exploits (ME), while the losing fleet still earns 0 to 1,500 ME, depending on how much damage it inflicted.

Let’s break it down with a typical scenario:

  • Two 750k power fleets engage in battle.
  • The winning fleet earns 2,700 ME, taking 15% damage.
  • The losing fleet is sent home, losing 20k components and gaining around 600 ME.
  • If the winning fleet enters another fight, it will likely lose to a full fleet, earning around 700 ME before being fully depleted.

So, a normal (non-overpowered) fleet accumulates around 3,500–4,500 ME per 20–25k components spent.

Now, let’s analyze combat as a system of equations involving both opposing fleets. Even if you have a powerful fleet that wins five battles in a row, earning 10,000 ME, that means there are five fleets that collectively burned 100,000 components (about five hours’ worth of production) and only gained 5,000 ME in total.

This means that across all six fleets involved, a total of 15,000 ME was generated at the cost of 120,000 components, giving an efficiency ratio of 8 components per 1 ME. I took this as my baseline for optimization. The key here is viewing both fleets as a single unit—after all, if one side is disproportionately disadvantaged, there’s no basis for collaboration.

Optimizing ME Gains – The Draw Strategy

To start my experiment, I took my Infinite EXP setup from the Top 10 Fleets list. Naturally, it stood no chance against any normal fleet, so I needed both sides to be equally gimmicky, designed with a single goal—soaking as much damage as possible and lasting at least eight turns to force a draw.

With help from some loyal readers (big kudos!), I set up two identical fleets: Vexor + Pomik + Paladin Crusader. Both fleets were placed in an isolated area to avoid third-party interference. After several hours of experiments, the results were promising:

  • The new setup achieved 1 ME per 3.7 components, a 116% efficiency increase!
  • However, there was still a major flaw—the winner-loser gap was significant (winner: 4,000 ME, loser: 2,000 ME) and not too far for a regular combats.

Upon analyzing combat logs, I identified the culprit—Pomik’s 3rd AoE ability. Its random chance-based proc sometimes triggered twice in a row, dealing too much damage and forcing a un-repairable loss.

Solution: I removed this ability from both fleets. Result? 40 consecutive draws!

  • The battle lasted a 80 minutes,
  • Efficiency increased to 1 ME per 2.3 components,
  • The winner gained 9,000 ME, while the loser earned 7,000 ME.

Sounds great? Not exactly.

The Problem: The cycle took nearly 3 hours due to 60-minute repair times—way too long to be practical.

The Sweet Spot – Efficiency vs. Speed

For my next tests, I adjusted talent points to fine-tune damage output—maximizing ME gains while keeping the battle duration manageable.

After dozens of test runs, I found the ideal balance:

  • Winner earns 7,000–8,000 ME
  • Loser earns 3,500–6,000 ME
  • Efficiency: 1 ME per 2.56 components
  • Average combat cycles: 14 (ranging from 10–21 battles)

This setup drastically reduced combat duration while maintaining 212.5% efficiency compared to standard PvP battles. Most importantly, both fleets gain a massive amount of ME, even when losing.

This method proves that with the right fleet setup and battle approach, you can significantly optimize ME farming, making it far more efficient than typical PvP combat. Next, I’ll break down step-by-step strategies for setting up this farm.

Optimal Fleet Composition for Efficient ME Farming

For this strategy to work effectively, your fleet needs to be built specifically for survivability and prolonged combat. The goal is to maximize damage soaking and sustain, ensuring battles last long enough to generate higher ME efficiency through extended engagements.

Main ship: Vexor. Keep all four modules at maximum level to avoid wasting reset cooldowns. Add a +3.9% HP rig set for increased survivability. Formation – Phalanx to get more damage reduction from Formation Institute.

Lead Commander – Pomik, the ideal choice due to his high Tactics stat, which grants additional damage reduction.

  • Implants: +8% Repair
  • Talent Build:
    • 1A: 15/15 + 7/7
    • 2B: 15/15 + 0/7
    • 3A: 2/15 + 1/7

This Leaves you with 5–10 unused talent points.

Deputy Commander – Paladin Crusader, which serves as the second-in-command, further reinforcing the fleet’s repair and sustain.

  • Implants: +8% Repair
  • Talent Build:
    • 3A: 15/15 + 7/7
    • Both Upper Passives: 7/7
    • Core Damage Skills: Distribute 5–7 points into each to maintain a sustain offensive pressure.

Next, I’ll explain how to deploy and execute this setup effectively to maximize ME gains.

How to Apply This Technique for Maximum Gains

Now that we’ve covered fleet composition and the theory behind efficient Military Exploit (ME) farming, let’s see how to put this strategy into action.

If you’re lucky enough to have an alt character in an opposing corporation, the simplest way to farm efficiently is to:

  1. Find a quiet, isolated area.
  2. Build two outposts with a tile between them.
  3. Follow this loop: Replenish → Deploy → Replenish every hour.

For most players, the seasonal conquest phase has likely ended, and many corporations have already agreed to designate PvP zones—essentially a sandbox area where players engage in combat to keep things interesting, while stations and gates remain off-limits.

If you don’t have an alt, you can:

  • Find an opposing faction player and agree to duel in a remote area. However, this requires coordination and pings to ensure both sides are ready.
  • Set up a dedicated ME farming zone in collaboration with another corporation. The only two rules should be:
    1. Only farming fleets are allowed in the area (no interference from regular PvP fleets).
    2. No third-party fleets should engage with ongoing draw cycles.

Proper maneuvering is essential—make sure your deployment doesn’t interfere with other battles in progress.

Executing the Dedicated Corp Farm

  1. Build an outpost and transfer your Vexor fleet to the location.
  2. When you’re ready, monitor the skirmish battlefield (lets say an 8×8 tile area).
  3. If you spot a lone Vexor, check the combat log of the tile:
    • If there were recent fights, the fleet is likely drained and not ready to engage.
    • If no fights have occurred recently, deploy your fleet to challenge them.
  4. If no active targets are visible, place your fleet in the center of the zone—eventually, someone will come and join the fight.

This will require everyone to have lvl 50 commanders to have at much equal starting power as possible. This Vexor’s fighting pit allows participants to be engaged 24/7 as long as both sides willing to participate.

Final Thoughts & Optimization Tips

Some might ask—why worry about components when you’ll have plenty of resources by season’s end? Sure, but my goal was to create a method that benefits both sides while requiring minimal effort. If you’re willing to hunt optimal targets every hour to maximize your win rate, you might earn more ME. However, component production takes time. Earning each ME nearly three times cheaper means spending significantly less time in the replenish dock per ME gained, keeping you in action longer.

So, with the setup like this you can expect:

  • On average, you can earn around 7,000 ME per battle.
  • Farming four times a day nets you 28,000 ME daily or 192,000 ME weekly.
  • With four other fleets doing their regular PVP, reaching 1 million ME in two weeks is entirely feasible.

What If You Keep Losing all the time?

If you’re struggling to win, talk to your farming partners and ask them to replenish only up to 90–95% of total fleet capacity. This will slightly lower their damage output without disrupting their build. Or make sure you fielding lvl 50 commanders. Remember, you don’t want to cheat by adding extra points to damage—this will break the draw chain faster, reducing your overall ME earnings!

Are There Alternative Setups?

Possibly! Some other fleet compositions worth experimenting with include: Drake or Oracle builds, Incursus Evade setups, Other durable fleet combinations. If you test an alternative build, please share your results in the comments—I’d love to hear what works for you!

I hope this guide has given you new insights into Military Exploits farming and helps you play more efficiently. A huge shout-out to my loyal reader, Kate, who helped me double the speed of my experiments and get this guide published faster!

Fly smart,

Talking about Hyperion – can you recommend a good fleet comp?

    1. I’m afraid not; rolling on 8 characters and still not getting one.

Lol buy the $5 hype pack. I promise it’s less aggravating. 😁

    1. My wife and I agreed that I would spend time, not money, on this game.

You’re lucky you had an exciting season like that… On server #44 the season was over in a week. There were only 2 big corps with one of them having 75% of the whales. We got slapped hard without any hope of winning. Many players are quitting.
